Dear Miss Emily:
Okay, well me and my boyfriend have been dating for four to five months and I've been traveling a lot this summer so I really haven't got to see him. But for the beginning of the summer, we were doing just fine like texting and talking but the last couple days, I feel like we have been drifting apart -- like yesterday he didn't even talk to me so, today, I text him and we had short conversation. I just don't know what to do. I mean, I miss him a bunch and we were planning on meeting next weekend, but I have that feeling we aren't going to be together. I love him too much and I don't know what I will do without him:(
--------------------------Miss Emily's advice---------------------
Wait a minute. I think you might be jumping the gun! It's you who has been traveling, not him, and perhaps it's a feeling of guilt on your part that's dictating your insecurity regarding this situation. Not texting for one day does not necessarily mean trouble, or an impending break up. Act as if nothing's happened. Be your friendly self, and plan the weekend. If he backs out, then worry. Come from a position of strength, not weakness (neediness), and you'll have a better chance of seeing this realistically. Again, I'm not saying that all is okay with him but, from what you have told me, you're overreacting.
