Hi Miss Emily!

So my boyfriend of 2 years told me the other day that he liked transsexuals and that he has had sex with one, more than once and now he saying that this was all a lie to break up with me. This all started because he uses my laptop and i found tranny porn, so i kept asking him why why why! -- and he said it was all pop ups. I didn't believe him so i kept asking and that's when he told me he did all that. I never believed him cause he is the biggest homophobic i know, so i know he isn't gay or bi. I cry everyday and i haven't eaten in four days. I don't know what to believe anymore.  I truly believe that he is not gay but now I'm like confused and just lost please help

There are countless men who profess to be rabidly homophobic to cover their inner feelings. We have congressmen and religious leaders who have been caught in gay "extracurricular" activities -- only to swear it was all a misunderstanding, or they can be "cured." Many of these people have rallied (prior to being exposed) with anti-gay movements to enact anti-gay policies. If he used your computer to look up "trannies" I think he has an interest in it (they were not pop-ups), and you should act accordingly based on your tolerance for this kind of behavior. As well, if would seem like something he would, ultimately, deny, because if word got out to your friends, I think he doesn't want the label or reputation.
