What Signs Show Cheating?

Dear Miss Emily:
I have been with my boyfriend for3 years and hes pretty much already acting distant, again. He said I deserve to be treated with love and respect because I'm the sweetest girl he has ever met. And he plays xbox 360 all day, everyday. He barely talks to me and I feel like hes seeing someone else.I really don't know what signs to look for. Do you?

I can't tell you for sure how he feels, but one of the signs is telling you, you deserve better than him. Signs of cheating would be your guy being gone, and not knowing where he is for long periods of time. Secret breaks on the cell phone and/or Internet, and when you enter the room, he quickly hangs up or shuts down his computer. Getting himself fit, and improving his grooming habits, etc. If you want to know more, there are plenty of sites on the Internet that will give you more information "How do you know if your guy is cheating," is a good start. And finally, your relationship with him may have simply become stale. Sit him down and talk out ways to improve it. If he's not on board, it's time to make the tough decision and take a break from this relationship. If he's interested in someone else, you'll find out soon enough after that break and, then, you can proceed with getting on with your life. It's never easy, for anyone. But you'll fair better if you handle this with maturity and hold on to your self-respect. Let him know that you can take anything but lying and deceit and, with what you have meant to each other these last three years, he needs to be truthful. It's called respect, and if you don't have that, you have nothing going, of any merit, in this relationship.
