Dear Miss Emily:
My husband and I have been married for 6 years. Hubby thinks I am invading his privacy when another woman calls his phone, I get really upset! He said, "this is not your phone and you should mind your own buisiness." Should I mind my own business? What can I do?
----------------Miss Emily's advice-----------
Unless he's talking to his sister, you have every right to be angered over his cell phone conversations with another woman. Being married has little meaning if one of the parties involved tells you to mind your own business when he has correspondence with a woman you do not know. It may be harmless, but the fact that he's so defensive tells me otherwise. Inform him that you will repsect his privacy, but only to a point. You are not a fool, and if he thinks you are, he is sadly mistaken.
