Dear Miss Emily:
I'm and 17 year-old girl, and i would love to know how to react, or act to a guy that left without a word. The situation would be that we met, again, randomly one day. Should i be angry, sad, happy??

Not angry, sad, nor happy -- but with a self-confidence like none you've shown before. And with a hint of sarcasm, say this: "What, no longer living in the witness protection program?" And then walk away. Anyone who would do this to you is a coward and not worth you listening to an explanation -- if one were forthcoming.
