Dear Emily:

I started a new job in April. My co-workers are in their mid 20's. One co-worker was married in May, (out of state). He invited me to the dinner reception last week. The invitation was handed to me 4 weeks ago. At the same time, another co-worker was handing out invites to his wedding, coming up in two weeks. My question is, I bought the guys wedding I was invited to, do I have to buy a gift for the co-worker that snubbed me? I may feel guilty.

---------------------------Miss Emily's advice--------------------

No guilt, please!  You are not required, by the laws of etiquette, to give a gift for a wedding to which you were not invited.
