Dear Miss Emily:
What should I do if my boyfriend is gone, and he says he loves me but he doesn't call me -- and sometimes I feel like he's lying to me about everything.

I don't know what you mean by gone, but if he doesn't call you, and he appears to have secrets, he may very well be leading two lives. But you can only go by what you know now. And right now, to me, this seems like a sham of a relationship. Talk is cheap, and the words "I love you" flow out of some mouths like water flows into into the sea. Actions are the measure of a person, not in the words he, or she says. So far, his actions speak volumes. If this were me, I'd look at myself in the mirror and say, "You deserve better." But you have to believe it in order to not fall for his B S.
