Dear Miss Emily:
Well, to start off, im 25 single female. A few weeks back this guy I knew (
as a name), but I didnt know him personally, but met him couple of times before
with friends. He got my number and started texting and calling. We went
out a couple of times, and after that I had to travel away for a month for
work outside the country ... the long distance was not perfect, and he would
just say hi everyday -- nothing more called me once a week maybe. After I'm back, he calls me up and we meet. But its been 5 days since I'm
back, and he's not texting me as he used to when we first met. He
doesnt even call ... but he initiates the texting, for instance, in the
morning and then he
never asks again. It's confusing for me. He's 10 years older than
me, and he's busy at work. Should I confront him and tell him why has
this change? i kind of feel as if we're still on long distance while I'm here, or should I let it go as it is, but it's killing me that he doesnt
text me or give me the attention he used to.
----------------------------Miss Emily's advice--------------------
Since
you've met, once, after coming home, why not text him and see if he
wants to meet up, again?! If you don't hear back, or he can't because
he's busy, well, okay, now you know, positively, that you're not a priority with him. I
think if you were to ask him "Why the change?" he might find that a
little too confrontational at this point in your relationship with him.
