Hi, so i just broke up with my girlfriend. We were in a 3 year relationship but she desperately wants me back. She keeps saying that she wishes that I would give her another chance to make me happy. I broke up with her because I was starting to get a bit bored, and I wanted to have someone new. Do you think it would be worth it to get back with her?

Not this soon! There was a reason you broke up with her. I don't know what her plan of action would be to making you happy, but you were bored with her -- yet that's not her fault, as much as it may be a fact the relationship has run its course. Why not give it more time to see what else is out there. I'm afraid if you go back, this soon, nothing will have changed. She shouldn't have to suddenly tell hilarious jokes like a stand-up comic, or dance like a professional stripper to keep you entertained. She is who she is, and shouldn't force a different behavior. After being together for three long years, there's often a fear factor that takes over and couples rush back to each other, prematurely. There's a feeling that it's almost better to go with what you know than seek out new territory with the idea that nothing may materialize. Yes, that's a chance you take, but it's never good to stay with the status quo if you feel like you're only doing it because you fear the unknown.
