I'm a gay 19 year old guy and I have a boyfriend. We got to talking about previous relationships and I found out he has had 5 different partners before me while he was my first. I got kind of mad and repulsed by this, because I find it "slutty" of him (he's 18). Is this the right response or am I being too hard on him?

You can't go back and change his past. Is he slutty? Well, I don't think by today's standards he is -- but that's subjective. He's experienced, I grant you that. But don't let the fact that you are jealous he's had a past with guys other than you be your opinion barometer. That said, unprotected sex with anyone who has a sexual past is asking for trouble. STDs and HIV are always a possibility if you aren't sure of your partner's, partners' past sexual habits. An HIV test would be warranted.
