Does He Think I'm A Slut?

Dear Miss Emily:
I'm 18. So I was out the other night with my friends, and I was drunk. I got talking to this guy and then we started kissing. I was with him for about an hour I'd say, making out. I let him do other things, and I to him, when we were making out. He got my number and we've been texting since (this happened like 5 days ago). A couple of days later we met up for coffee, but not for long 'cause I was busy. but all I did then was kiss him goodbye. He says he won't tell anyone what happened because he respects me and really likes me, and he wants to go to the cinema met weekend with me. He's the same age as me, and goes to my friends school. She says he's nice. He seems like a really nice, decent guy but what I'm wondering is is he only meeting me because he thinks I'm easy after the first night, and that I'm gonna sleep with him? Like I would only it we were going out for ages. I really like him but I'm afraid he thinks I'm a **** and that he's gonna get lucky. Am I for what I did the first night? I've never done that before and probably wouldn't have had i been sober.

I hate to put labels on people in this matter, so I would never say you are a slut, nor him! Getting drunk can certainly let the inhibitions down, however, and that's a good reason to be careful in the future. But the way I see it, even if he does think you're "easy" (however, it takes two to get easy), he'll know soon enough if you go out with him. Were he to expect you to sleep with him without a history of dating under your belts, you have only to set him straight. You can't know his intentions, for sure, but I think it's worth a date to explain to him -- although you gave the impression you may be ready for anything, it was a false one, and you're sorry if that changes how he feels about you. From that point on, you'll know his intentions.
