Dear Emily,
I really need advice. I'm 18 years old, and 5 months pregnant. Me and the dad are going through some problem which keep me away from him. But I do love him and want to be with him. He wants me to move in with him. I honestly don't, because I don't wanna live with another family. I don't wanna leave my family behind. I don't know exactly what to do. At the same time, I feel like I have to because I have no room in my house. What do I do? What would you do?
----------------------------------Miss Emily's advice--------------------------------
I am so sorry for your situation. It's hard to face this awesome responsibility at 18. I would not make any hasty move until after your baby is born. If you have the support of your and his family, that's the most important thing, right now. A baby will not take up much space, and you want to be on more solid footing with him before you move into unfamiliar territory. To have these problems (although you didn't mention what they are), and being under the same roof as him, it could make you feel horribly lost and in a situation that may be hard to leave, once you are in. Baby steps! Baby first! Then make plans accordingly. That's what I would do.
