Dear Miss Emily:
I fell in love with a woman who really got everything that matches with me, and we really love each other like hell. So it happened she got back with her old boyfriend. I don't know how to deal with that, because i am short- tempered. So can you please tel me what to do? What can i do?
---------------------------------Miss Emily's advice-------------------------------
I understand you are hurt, but cool your jets when it comes to your temper because that will only make your blood pressure rise -- while she thinks she made the right decision. You don't want to risk making an ass out of yourself. No, this is the time where you have to show you are handling this with maturity -- you know, like a man. If you need to punch something, go to the gym. If, for some reason it doesn't work out with the ex, and these "revisits" so often don't, maybe she''ll see the error of her ways and come back to you. Of course, that would be for you to decide if you wanted a round 2. Right now, you want to come off as a self-assured man who didn't crumble because you couldn't take the break-up, and no one was threatened by you blowing like Mount Vesuvius. Of course, you're hurt. Who isn't when this happens? And if this ends up not going your way, you'll be ready to face it because the value of your life cannot be determined by this one woman. You are not alone (I get hundreds of letters on the same subject), but the road ahead will be less bumpy if you maintain a rational mind, and with thoughts toward the future.
