Dear Miss Emily:
Okay, well there is this guy that I had a thing with for a weekend. He goes to college. It was nice, because he came to see me two nights in a row. But when he went back to college, he just stopped talking to me. He seemed like he really liked me, so I don't get it. It upsets me and I kinda just want to move on, but I don't really know what to do.
------------------------------Miss Emily's advice------------------------
Have you tried to contact him through e-mail, or text? Many girls often wait for a guy to make the overtures, but I think that's a mistake if females believe in equality. However, if you did that, and he didn't respond, you must chalk this up to him really enjoying that one weekend, and now he's on to other things. If he comes to town expecting you to entertain him for another weekend, I would question his intentions. But if you decide that another weekend fling with him is okay with you, no strings, go for it. However, if you want more than that, I would say I was unavailable to see him. As I have often said, many young guys are like bees who flit from one flower to the next. Bees love flowers, and lots of them.
