Dear Miss Emily

I met a gal 7 months ago.and we fell in love, but now she doesn't want to have sex with me.  I hear rumors that she is cheating on me with my friend and is sexualy active with hm. I don't wanna lose her. What should I do. I'm sixteen and male.

-------------------------------------------Miss Emily's advice----------------------------------------

Sometimes rumors are true! I would sit her down and ask her to be honest with you, because it's the fair thing to do. As well, promise her you won't get angry, and she need not tell you who she is interested in, only that she is no longer interested in you. The reason people do what you think she's doing, is because they don't have the courage, or integrity to tell you the relationship is over before another one begins. It's often said, "It's because I didn't want to hurt you." But what is more hurtful than a lie that makes you appear foolish to others? If she doesn't want to have sex with you, I think that's a clear sign something is "rotten in Denmark!" You can't force someone to care, but you can ask them to treat you with respect, and that includes honesty.
